How we handle your data
The short version: this site does not track you. The full version is below, written to be read.
No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies, does not use profiling tools and does not embed third-party content that could observe your visit. The only count is the one described further down, on the preview page: how many times, never who. That is why there is no banner: there is nothing to consent to.
The language we open the site in
When you open the main address, the site looks at the language your browser declares in the request and sends you to the matching version, if there is one. It is a check that happens on the spot: we save nothing on your device and you can change the choice whenever you like from the language menu at the top.
The data we receive
The only personal data we handle is the correspondence you decide to send us by email: your address, your name if you sign it, and what you write. We use it only to answer you and to run any work we do together. We do not pass it to anyone and we do not use it to send you messages you did not ask for.
The provider that hosts the site (Vercel Inc.) records the ordinary server logs for technical and security reasons, which may include the IP address. That is data we do not use to identify you.
The preview page
The page «Your new website: see it first, then decide» only counts how many times it is opened and how many times the button leading to the questions is pressed: no cookies, no identifiers, never who. The Google tag is a different matter: it is in the paragraph below.
The application for the preview
If you send us the application from the /candidatura page, we receive what you write in the conversation and the files you upload: logo, photos, documents. We use them only to prepare the proposal and to get back to you. They stay in a private store of our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) and on our computers for as long as the evaluation lasts: if the project does not go ahead we delete them, and you can ask us to do so at any time. For photos showing people, we ask you to confirm that they agree to appear on the site. While you fill it in, your answers stay in your browser's memory so you can pick up where you left off. Your contact details though (name, business, email and phone) reach us as soon as you type them, together with the files you upload: that way, if you stop halfway, we can still get back to you. The rest of your answers only leaves when you send.
Ads and measurement
When an advertising campaign is running, the two pages of the free preview (the landing page and the question chat) can load the Google tag. It does one thing only: tell us which ads bring real enquiries. It loads only if you accept it from the banner; from that moment it writes cookies on your device and reports to Google that an enquiry has arrived. If you decline it does not load: the pages work just the same. You can change your choice whenever you like, from the «Consent» link at the bottom of those two pages. Together with your application we also keep the code of the ad you came from, when there is one, for the same reason. The rest of the site stays without cookies and without third-party tools.
How long we keep it
Correspondence stays in our mailbox for as long as it takes to handle the request and any obligations that follow from it. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.
Your rights
European Regulation 2016/679 gives you the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit its use and to object to the processing. To exercise them, write to the address given in the contact section. If you believe something is wrong, you can turn to the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Data controller
The data controller is the owner of the Fondamenta studio (VAT 12244640962), reachable at the email address in the contact section.
